storm could not wash away so easily. The engineers presented their plan to the King the next day. He immediately approved and work began that very day. The King again sat in his tower and watched the work being done from morning to night. After fifteen years of hard labor, the second mountain in the kingdom was slowly broken, moved and dropped into the sea. At last, the Island was completed. It was twice the size of the first Island they had built. Surly no small storm would do any harm to such a large Island. The King was very pleased at the sight and planned for a celebration the next day to commemorate the birth of the Island.
That night a large storm came upon the land. With more powerful winds and rains that than the storm that washed away the first island. It battered the Island with strong winds and rains again. for the second time the Island was washed away into the sea. Nothing remained, not even a small pebble above the waves to show that their was an Island their.

The Foolish King was very angered and displeased with what had happened. He could not understand how not one but two Islands could be washed away in succession. He stood in his royal bedroom for days. Thinking of what could be done to make an Island that would not be torn down by a storm. He called his engineers together and he made a proposal.
Work on the third Island began. The largest mountain in the Kingdom was painstakingly torn down stone by stone. As with the two before it, the large mountain was dismantled and moved onto the shore. From the shore it was taken in barges and dropped into the sea where the previous two Islands had been. This time however, instead of mostly dirt and small rocks, larger rocks were dropped into the sea to form the new Island.
After twenty more years of the King watching out of his window as the laborers toiled away at their work, the Island was finally finished. Made up of larger stones than the Island before it, this one was sure to

withstand the storms that had come before it. A towering Island before the Kingdom stood close to it's shores. After forty five years of work and three Islands built, the King decided to make a celebration the likes of which his Kingdom had never seen. The King spared no expense and made sure that every citizen in his Kingdom enjoyed the the food and drink of celebration . Before the large crowd of people, the King stood proud with tears in his eyes. He thanked all of the workers for their untiring labor and the people for their support and understanding in what the King had set out to accomplish
He than christened the Island "Tsunami Island" a name that all the citizens of the Kingdom would forever remember. After the celebration the King retired to his royal bedroom to rest. He was happy and content with the Island Tsunami. After the forty five years of work by the laborers and engineers, his dream was fulfilled. An old man by now, the King knew that he did not have much

time left. He appointed his son to succeed him after his death and made his son promise to bury him on the Island of Tsunami after his passing.
A few years passed after the Kings decision on his successor was made. The King passed away in his sleep a very old and tired man. Still beloved by his subjects. he was buried on the Island he loved as he wished. Every person in the kingdom came to see the king at his funeral. The people cried and morned the Kings passing. They all hoped that his son would be as kind and fair a King As he was. That night, a storm the size of which nobody had ever seen before appeared on the horizon. The wind began to pick up as the storm neared the Island. The winds became so strong that they tore down the palm trees on the beach. Rain fell as fast and hit as hard as pebble thrown down from the sky. The sea pushed forth a gigantic wave that drafted the Island of Tsunami before it.
